Your Teen and Meth - A Video Presentation
New Video Series to Support Parents available at PHCD.org. The Petaluma Health Care District has launched a new video series intended to help with the challenge of parenting teens through difficult times. The first video in the series, called Your Teen and Meth, now available at www.phcd.org, was made in conjunction with the Drug Abuse Alternatives Center of Santa Rosa (www.daacinfo.org) The video gives parents information about Methamphetamines, and the steps to take if they think their child may be using them. Parent involvement is the key to success when it comes to raising teens, and so important if a teen is involved in risky behaviors. In this video you will find one family’s story and expert information about what a parent can do. The Internet site includes printable resources. For more information, or a CD-ROM / DVD version of the video (cost $15.00) please contact The Drug Abuse Alternatives Center, Susan Anderson at (707) 571-2233 ext. 311 or sanderson@daacmail.org.
