Outpatient & Inpatient Drug Alcohol Treatment Programs and Services for Adults
DAAC offers outpatient and residential or inpatient treatment
options, described below, for adults with alcohol
and/or other drug problems. Health services, including
HIV and Hepatitis C education, testing, and counseling,
are available to all clients. Additionally, our
staff can guide family and friends of an individual
with alcohol and/or other chemical dependency problems through
a structured and facilitated intervention process.

Drug Court Counseling Program (707) 566-0170
Drug Court is a collaborative effort of the Sonoma
County Health Department, Sonoma County Courts
and DAAC. The program serves clients charged with
non-violent misdemeanors or felonies related to
drug abuse. Drug Court is a nine to 12 month program
that includes intensive counseling, drug testing,
participation in self-help programs, daily monitoring
and regular appearances before the Drug Court
judge.
Outpatient Alcohol & Chemical Dependency Treatment (707) 544-3295
Outpatient Treatment provides intervention, prevention,
education and treatment for adults with alcohol
and/or other chemical dependency problems. Counselors work with
their client to develop an individualized treatment
plan addressing all aspects of the individual's
life. Clients are then scheduled for individual,
group or family counseling. Our educational and
therapy group settings provide peer support and
are provided on topics such as denial management,
anger management, stress reduction, communication
skills and relapse prevention. Family members
are included in treatment whenever possible. Bilingual
services are available.
Methadone Maintenance & Detoxification

The Redwood Empire Addictions Program (REAP) is
a methadone maintenance and detoxification program
designed to assist in restoring personal dignity
to individuals addicted to heroin and other opiates.
The program emphasizes counseling, healthy support
systems and education. Employment, nutrition and
health counseling are offered. Each client receives
a physical examination prior to admission, including
lab work and medical referrals if necessary. REAP
is certified by Federal and State agencies and
accredited by CARF.
SHARP

SHARP is a weekly needle exchange progra
in Santa Rosa providing prevention, education,
risk reduction, HIV/HCV testing and referral
services.
Turning Point Residential Treatment (707)

Turning Point has been providing residential drug
treatment since 1974. The program is an affordable,
12-step based residential treatment center offering
individualized programs ranging from 30-270 days
for adults seeking recovery from addiction to
alcohol and/or drugs. Treatment services include
20 hours per week of group counseling, educational
classes, individual counseling, individual learning
assignments and family counseling. Clients must
learn to deal with family issues, find a good
job or enroll in a job training program and develop
a positive support system before they can successfully
complete the program. Turning Point provides treatment
to 129 men and women at any one time at two Sonoma
County sites, and is recognized as one of the
most successful programs of its type in California.
