Turning Point has provided individualized, residential drug treatment since 1974. For adults seeking recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs, Turning Point offers affordable and confidential treatment programs ranging from 30-270 days in length.

Treatment services include 20 hours per week of group counseling, educational classes, individual counseling and learning assignments and family sessions.
Specialized treatment tracks include:
  • Working Adults Program (for individuals seeking intensive treatment while maintaining their employment)
  • Co-Occurring Disorders Program (for those with a substance abuse and a mental health diagnosis), and an
  • Opiate Addictions Program (in coordination with Narcotic Replacement Therapy, such as methadone or Suboxone).

Clients learn to deal with family issues, secure employment or job training, and develop a positive support system before they can successfully complete the program. Turning Point provides treatment to more than 130 men and women at two Sonoma County sites, and is recognized as one of the most successful programs of its type in California.

A men-only facility with 35 beds which houses clients who have completed at least three months of residential treatment at the main Turning Point site. Clients who enter into Acacia Lane are ready for job and housing search (if this is not already in place), and are able to participate in more outside supportive activities.
